The Ukrainian scientific conference “Kukhar’s Chemical Readings” was initiated by the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine in 2019 with the aim of perpetuating the memory of the outstanding scientist and organizer of science, founder and first director of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician Valery Pavlovich Kukhar at the initiative of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (resolution No. 197 of 06/27/2018).
