Bioactive compounds, new substances and materials / Edited by A.I. Vovk.
The book presents the works of employees of the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as scientists from other institutes and universities based on the materials of the XXXI Scientific Conference on Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry (May 30, 2024, Kyiv). Scientific articles on bioorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, petrochemistry, and the chemistry of high-molecular compounds are divided into two sections. The first section presents the results of the synthesis of new organic compounds, studies of their reactivity and biological activity, as well as the relationship between structure and activity. The second section presents scientific developments related to new polymer compositions for various purposes with improved target characteristics, fuel and lubricating materials, catalysts for oleochemical transformations and processing of anthropogenic waste. The book is intended for a wide range of specialists in the field of chemistry and biology, as well as graduate students and undergraduates.

Bioactive compounds, new substances and materials / Edited by A.I. Vovk. The book presents the works of employees of the V.P. Synthesis and bioactivity of functionalized nitrogen-containing heterocycles / Edited by A.I. Vovk.
The monograph discusses methods of synthesis and some issues of bioactivity of functionalized nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds. In particular, it discusses the synthesis of new five- and six-membered heterocycles and their condensed derivatives using chlorine-containing 2-aza-1,3-butadienes, the synthesis of polyfluoroalkyl-containing pyroles and alkaloids of the pyrrolidine series, the synthesis of 7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines, pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrazines, spirocyclic pyrimidine-2,4,6-triones, as well as the reactions of O-acyl-substituted structural analogues of thiamine. Particular attention is paid to the properties of heterocyclic compounds in in silico and in vitro model systems, the study of inhibitors of some therapeutically important enzymes, as well as the search for and creation of plant growth regulators. The book is intended for research workers specializing in bioorganic, organic, and medicinal chemistry, as well as teachers of higher educational institutions of chemical and biological profile and graduate students.

Bioactive compounds, new substances and materials / Edited by A.I. Vovk.
The book presents the works of employees of the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as scientists from other institutes and universities based on the materials of the XXXVI Scientific Conference on Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry (June 17, 2021, Kyiv). The scientific articles are divided into two sections devoted to the synthesis and study of bioactive compounds, as well as the study of new substances and materials and their application. Strategy of synthesis and bioactivity of organic molecules / Edited by A.I. Vovk.
The monograph discusses current issues in the synthesis, reactivity, and biological activity of organic and organoelement compounds. It brings together a series of reports presented at the First Ukrainian Conference “Kukhariv Chemical Readings,” which was held in 2019 at the V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the development of scientific research in this field, which has been carried out at the Institute over the last decades.
